Teamwork

The “illbruck” won the Volvo Ocean Race because the crew demonstrated exemplary teamwork. Each of them gave everything he had; together they proved undefeatable. This unique performance could only come about because the very best in sailing were all aboard one vessel.

What goes for sailing also goes for business: only with the very best employees can a company succeed in the competitive climate in the business world. Everyone has to contribute in order to reach the goal; decisions have to be made and implemented together. Everyone has to be aware of where the road will lead and understand that setting out upon a new path is sometimes necessary.

A business works much like a team sport. Different individuals need to share a common vision and goal. When this happens, the gears fit together and everything is set in motion.
